I love her other books but this one is so light weight and the editing is appalling. So many incorrect words and sentences with missing words the Grammar Nazi's will have a field day.This books reads like something she had written while still at school and somehow got published years later. The plot is very predictable, the characters are fairly bland and as I said above it needs professionally editing. Perhaps something for a quick read while sitting by the pool sipping some vodka. Do yourself a favour and read one of her series for serious entertainment.

This is a totally different way of writing compared to ghee Ghost Bird series. Other than the horrible grammar and misprint that should have been caught by the copy people.
I love this author but not this book. The characters are not well developed and there are so many typos that it was a frustrating read. Read the Ghost Bird series instead!
Cannot believe this is the same author who wrote The Academy series. So many grammatical errors, and the flow of writing just wasn't there. The story was unoriginal and predictable.
needs some polishing and a re-edit, but a compelling story!
This must be one of C.L. STONE early books it is more a mystery than a love story which is more my style it is exciting and moves along well although there are a lot of clerical mistakes that need to be fixed she_ him type of mistakes .
The plot is interesting as you start to read but you lose interest quickly, the English grammar and punctuation is awful. Extra words are thrown in to sentences that have no relevance, explanatory words are left out. It's like there is a decent plot but it is being explained by three different people that speak three different kinds of broken English.
But oh my goodness does this book need a heavy dose of editing! Major issues with tense & point of view. Thankful I can say author's other books are much better in these areas.
